the end (for now)
I'm ending the Finn Papers.
At least for now. I realized that these Papers have turned into something very far from what I started out to do. I'm not feeling good these days, and it's not something I want to write about, let alone subject my "readership" to. I never wrote the Papers for myself (boo on me). I have my own handwritten composition books for that. So I feel an "obligation" to go on an extended hiatus, at least until I feel like I have something to write about here that's worth reading.
I might be gone for a day, a month, maybe forever. But here are some of my regular reads that you might enjoy (in no particular order): bronwyn, peta, loobylu, monkeymind, nellenerak, tess, rodney, phineas, ftrain, and supermario. If for some funny reason, you find that we cannot be apart for long, you can also find me here, and eventually, here.
Please drop a note in my guestbook, or an e-mail sometime, because I'd love to hear that you're all still doing well (and I love letters). I leave you with a silly ditty I wrote when my friend and I played a game called "30-second Nature Haiku": The mighty elephant / Unhappily fallen / By tiny cobra fangs.
Goodbye for now, my friends. I wish you all peace, love, and most importantly, happiness. ~Finn, New York City finnegan@diaryland.com
